Dominating the Lauragais valley from a 375 meters high hillock, located at 50 km East from Toulouse, Puylaurens is facing great landscapes. Up North, the green valley of Agoût River. To the South, the massive chains of the Black Mountain and eventually the beautiful snow white peaks of the Pyrenees.

Thanks to the generosity of the soils, the local economy has developed around the rural historical market. 2800 inhabitants are now living in this typical meridional village, which slowly grew up around the Castle since the 12th century.
Easily reachable by the road, Puylaurens is located in an area extraordinarily preserved from the touristical summer crowd.
